The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York had a design competition for its 150th Anniversary. The submission date was June 14th. I had several designs for shawls, inspired on a few pieces from antiquity... However, on that date I had an important engagement and totally forgot. So, dear Metropolitan, as one of the trillions of people who have walked through your magical galleries over the years, this is for you! Happy 150th! (I have now added my own designs to yours- yours are the pots and the funny bird...)
